Die Flügel des Rotmilans verfügen zusammen über 16 Schwungfedern
Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on ? The red kite was chosen as a symbol for the new municipality as the largest population of these birds in the country can be found in the municipality. The 16 (described) feathers refer to the 16 villages in the municipality. The green hill refers to the historical Höhenweg road ('high road'). The wavy base refers to the Ilm river.
