Arms (crest) of Hvalsø

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially registered in 1982.

The watermill wheel is a symbol for the historical watermill, which is situated on the spot where the former municipalities bordered each other. The acorn leaves and the green colour symbolise the agricultural character of the municipality.
