Selected collector's items from Germany:

HOLZHEIM

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Neu-Ulm
Additions : 1970 Neuhausen

Wappen von Holzheim (Neu-Ulm)

Official blazon

(de) In Silber zwei rote Schräglinksbalken, belegt mit einem golden bewehrten und gekrönten schwarzen Doppeladler.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on July 6, 1970.

The arms symbolise the two main rulers of the area. The red bends are derived from the arms of the Counts of the Berg who sold the estate in 1303 to the Dukes of Austria. The double eagle is taken from the arms of the Austrian Empire.
