HILLE
State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Minden-Lübbecke (until 1973 Minden)
Additions : 1973 Amt Dützen (partly), Amt Hartum, Eickhorst, Hartum, Holzhausen II (partly), Nordhemmern, Oberlübbe, Rothenuffeln, Südhemmern, Unterlübbe
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The wind mill blades are taken from the old arms of Amt Hartum, where are still many windmills. The reeds are taken from the old arms of Hillen, see below and symbolise the moors in the municipality. The colours are those of the State of Minden.
The previous arms of the village only showed the reeds.
