Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on April 2, 1992.
The arms are based on the arms of the Lords of Hessberg, who originated from the village. The arms of the family could not be used, as the family still exists. Therefore the roses and the bars changed sides and one silver bar was omitted, to distinguish the arms more clearly from the family arms.
