Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 18, 1972.

The arms are a combination of the arms of several families that played a role in the local history. The first quarter is derived from the Oignies arms, the second from Montmorency, the third from Dion and the fourth from the Croix family. The escutcheon is taken from the Preud'homme d'Hailly family.

The arms were first used on the seal of the village known since 1776.
