Selected collector's items from Germany:

HECKLINGEN

State : Sachsen-Anhalt
District (Kreis) : Salzlandkreis (until 2007 Aschersleben-Stassfurt)
Verwaltungsgemeinschaft : Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Bördeblick (until 2004)
Additions : 2004 Cochstedt, Groß Börnecke, Gänsefurth, Schneidlingen

Wappen von Hecklingen (Sachsen-Anhalt)

Official blazon

In Grün vier goldene Ähren über goldenem Dreiberg.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 2004.

These are based on the arms of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Bördeblick to which the four former municipalities belonged. The arms show the agricultural character of the region

The previous arms showed St. George, killing a dragon as shown below :

St. George was the patron saint of the town and already appeared on the historical seals of Hecklingen. The arms are still used as town arms, but not as municipal arms.
