Wappen von Hartenholm/Arms (crest) of Hartenholm
Official blazon
German

Unter grünem Schildhaupt, darin drei goldene Tannenzapfen nebeneinander, in Silber ein schwarzes Hirschgeweih.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 13, 1986.

The deer (Hart or Hirsch) is a canting element as the name could mean 'deer-hill'. The chief symbolises the pine forests in the area, which were planted on the moors in the area since 1811. The forest today is rich in wildlife, which is again symbolised by the antlers.
