In 1966 the State Archives proposed to show the arms with the stick of the hammer in gold, as at the time the municipality used again the old arms of Hammereisenbach. The municipality rejected and the State Archives now proposed a golden hammer-iron on blue. The municipality did not react and was merged with Vöhrenbach a few years later. Official blazon
German

In Blau ein natürlicher Hammer

Origin/meaning

The arms are canting, showing a hammer.

The municipality wanted in 1897 to continue the arms of Hammereisenbach, but the State Archives proposed the use of a proper hammer, as the hammer-iron was too hard to recognise. The municipality used the arms, which were never officially granted.

The municipality thus never had official arms.
