HAINSTADT

State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Offenbach
Incorporated into : 1977 Hainburg

Wappen von Hainstadt (Hainburg)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 11, 1955. The three chevrons are taken from the arms of the Counts of Eppstein, who historically ruled the area. As the village is well known for (roof-)tile making the chevrons also symbolise a roof, whereas the tiles in the base symbolise the industry.
