Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on June 2, 1988.

The arms are derived from the arms of Jérôme Segond, Lord of Wionval-Haillicourt, who in 1650 donated a large sum of money for to restore the local church, which had been completely destroyed during the war at the time.
