Wappen von Häuslingen/Arms (crest) of Häuslingen
Official blazon
German

Gespalten von Rot und Gold mit einer strahlenden Sonne unter einem Sparren in gewechselten Farben.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on July 14, 2011.

The chevron is a canting symbol for the Haus- (House) part of the name. The division of the shield refers to the two former municipalities.

The sun refers to the fact that the municipality was one of the first in Germany to set up a large scale programme for solar energy.

The colours are those of the Welfen family, who ruled the area in early medieval times.
