Blason de Grilly/Arms (crest) of Grilly
Official blazon
French D'or à la croix de sable chargée de cinq coquilles d'argent, cantonnée en chef à dextre d'un glaive romain de gueules et à senestre d'une fleur de lis d'azur.
English No blazon/translation known. Please click here to send your (heraldic !) blazon or translation

Origin/meaning

The arms are based on the arms of the De Gr(a)illy family, who already in 1120 were mentioned as Lords of the village. The two symbols, sword and fleur-de-lis were added to distinguish the arms from the arms of the family.

Blason de Grilly

The arms on municipal stationery (+/- 2011)
