In Gold zwei erniedrigte blaue Wellenleisten, darauf vorne ein linkshin aufgerichteter, rot bewehrter und rot bezungter schwarzer Bär, hinten eine schwebende blaue Traube mit grünem Stiel und Blatt.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 10, 1978.

The bear in the arms is derived from the arms of the Bärenfelser family. The wavy bar symbolises the Rhine river, and the grapes the importance of viticulture in the area.
