In Blau auf grünem Dreiberg eine doppeltürmige Kirche mit roten Turmdächern in Vorderansicht.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 24, 1950 and based on the seal that the city had adopted in 1949.

The building is the local church, built between 1712 and 1726. Being a centre of pilgrimage, the church is of great local importance.
