German

In Blau unter einem von Rot und Silber gezwickelten Sparren eine goldene Krone.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 3, 1952.

The arms reflect that the town belonged for 400 years (until 1803) to the local Cistercian Abbey. The chevron is taken from the arms of the Abbey, the crown is a canting element (Fürst=King).
