Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 26, 1990.

The coat of arms features two charges: an apple-tree and a bar of roofing tiles. Fruit of all sorts have been grown in the municipality for a long time; even a hundred years ago, fruit from Edelsgrub were known as good quality and highly spoken of. The tiles indicate the local brickyards.
