Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 1986.

The arms show the mountains of the Mont Blanc, Aravis and Warens ranges, in front of the arms of the Lords of Faucigny, to whom the area belonged in medieval times. The poppy is a symbol for the nature, the wheat for the agricultural character of the municipality.
