The composition of the saint, the shield with his cross and the fish already appears on a seal from the 14<sup>th</sup> century. On that earliest seal there are still two fish, all later seals show only one fish. On images the two fish appear until the 16<sup>th</sup> century, and the lance is sometimes replaced by a dragon.
