English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms show St.George, the patron saint of the town in an unusual way (mostly he is shown killing a dragon). The composition of the saint, the shield with his cross and the fish already appears on a seal from the 14th century. On that earliest seal there are still two fish, all later seals show only one fish. On images the two fish appear until the 16th century, and the lance is sometimes replaced by a dragon. The fish most likely indicate the position on the Ammersee (lake).
