In Blau, mit einem silbern und rot gestückten Bord, unter einem goldenen Sparren ein goldenes Waidrad.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 27, 1996.
The chevron represents a canting roof (Dach). The wheel and the blue and gold refer to the cultivation of woad (Isatis tinctoria) and the manufacture of a blue dye from pressing the plant (the gold refers to the yellow flowers of the plant).
