Geviert von Silber und Schwarz; aufgelegt ein goldener Schild, darin eine bewurzelte grüne Tanne.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 4, 1968.

The arms show the quartered shield of the Hohenzollern family, Margraves of Nürnberg. The escutcheon shows a canting pine tree (Tanne).
