BUCHBRUNN

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Kitzingen

Wappen von Buchbrunn/Arms (crest) of Buchbrunn
Official blazon
German In Silber nebeneinander eine bewurzelte grüne Buche und ein schwarzer Röhrenbrunnen.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 27, 1969.

The arms are canting, showing a beech (Buche) and fountain (Brunnen). The composition was already seen on the 17th century village seal. On the village square there are also a beech tree and a fountain.

The silver and black colours refer to the Margraves of Brandenburg-Ansbach, to which the village historically belonged.
