Von Silber und Grün durch einen Zinnenschnitt geteilt. Oben zwei grüne vierblättrige Kleeblätter, unten ein silbener Krug mit schwarzen Ornamenten.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 22, 1977.
The division line symbolises the historical castle in the village. The jug symbolises the pre-Roman settlements in the municipality. The trefoils symbolise the importance of agriculture. The colours are those of the Leer district.
