BRAMBERG AM WILDKOGEL

State : Salzburg
District : Zell am See

Bramberg.jpg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were officiallygranted on April 28, 1966.

The horse in the arms is taken as a symbol as Bramberg is a center of horse breeding. The silver part, officially described as a part of a castle wall, is taken from the arms of the Lords of Wenns, who lived in the village in Medieval times.
