Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on June 18, 1998.

The blue wavy bend symbolizes the Bug river. The stork refers to the nature of the municipality and the many storks. Miter and crosier refer to the fact that Brańszczyk was owned by the bishops of Plock.
