Official blazon

In Gold auf blauem Wellenschildfuß, darin zwei schwarze Wellenfäden, unter 13 (5:3:5) sechstrahligen blauen Sternen ein dümpelndes braunes Fährschiff mit seitlichem Ruder und zu den Sternen reichendem, zentralem Mast mit vorderen wie hinteren (achteren) Stagen sowie links abflatterndem silbernem Wimpel.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 24, 1952.

The stars in the upper half symbolise the 13 villages in Beuel. The ship indicates the importance of fishing in the Rhein in former times.
