BELZ

Département : Morbihan

Blason de Belz (Morbihan)/Arms (crest) of Belz (Morbihan)
Official blazon
French D'azur à la bande de gueules bordée d'or et chargée en coeur d'un maillet d'or accompagné de deux coins en forme de trapèze du même.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were designed and adopted in 1956.

The hammer and pins are a symbol for the longtime tradition of shipbuilding in the municipality. I have no idea about the meaning of the bend.
