Origin/meaning
These arms show the particular geographical situation of the village that gave it its name: the southern slope of a ravine position (barranc). The greyhound is the symbol of the Aure valley in which the village is situated. The basket reflects the artisanal activity of making baskets and other items. The diamonds refer to the four sources/wells in the municipality.
