D’azur à la crosse d’or chargée d’un livre ouvert d’argent, accostée de deux cailloux d’or en chef.

Origin/meaning

The crosier and the book refer to the Saint Avold abbey, to which the village historically belonged. The two rocks refer to St. Étienne (Stephanus), patron saint of the village.
