Blason de Ayguatébia-Talau / Arms of Ayguatébia-Talau
Official blazon
French

D'azur au pont de pierre de trois arches, surmonté de la cathédrale saint Ermengol, le tout d'argent, maçonné de sable, posé sur une mer du champ.

English No blazon/translation known. Please click here to send your (heraldic !) blazon or translation

Origin/meaning

The local church is devoted to St. Ermegol, Bishop of Urgell (now in Spain) from 1010-1035, who was killed on the bridge in El Pont de Bar. The arms thus show the Urgell cathedral and the bridge.
