  • (fr) D'or à la bande ondée d'azur chargée d'un poisson d'argent entre deux feuilles de chêne du même, accompagnée en chef par un calvaire de gueules et en pointe par une roue de moulin du même.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in September 2011.

The wavy band and the fish symbolize the Aroffe river which gave its name to the village. The Cross of Calvary and the mill wheel symbolise the church and mill in the village. The oak leaves refer to the forests surrounding Aroffe.
