AICHELBERG

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Göppingen

Wappen von Aichelberg (Göppingen)

Official blazon

  • (de) In Rot über silbernem Dreiberg drei (2:1) steigende silberne Eicheln.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 25, 1958.

Aichelberg became a separate municipality in 1876, but the first seal of the municipality dates from 1930. The seal showed a canting acorn (Eichel). The local council adopted in 1949 arms with a green acorn in a silver shield. These arms were identical to the arms of Aichelberg in Esslingen district, so in 1957 the present arms were devised which are completely canting, acorns above a mountain (Berg).
