Shield: Per saltire azure and tenné, a broad arrow point to chief argent
Crest: In awreath of the colors, argent and azure,a circlet of bamboo proper surmounted overall by five feathered arrow shafts or,
radiating from a bezant at center and each charged with the three bendelets at opposite sides of the shaft gules.

Origin/meaning
The arrow symbolises flight and symbolises the Regiment's function. The per saltire division alludes to Kansas called Crossroads of the Nation. The Regiment was activated in this State in 1966
as the 9th Aviation Battalion. The bamboo circlet, bezant and feathered arrow shafts with the three red bands from the Flag of the Republic of Vietnam, symbolises the Battle of Rach Kien.
