61ST CIVIL ENGINEER AND LOGISTICS SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE
History: Constituted as 61 Installations Squadron, Troop Carrier, Medium, and activated, on 1 July 1948. Redesignated as: 61 Installations Squadron, Troop Carrier, Heavy, on 15 August 1948; 61 Installations Squadron on 1 March 1950. Inactivated on 2 June 1951. Redesignated as: 61 Civil Engineering Squadron on 3 October 1984; 61 Civil Engineer and Logistics Squadron on 11 January 2005. Activated on 1 February 2005.
