3RD FOREIGN PARACHUTE BATTALION (LATER REGIMENT), FRENCH ARMY

History: The Battalion was raised in November 1949 in Tunisia. May 1954 to November 1955 in Vietnam, then to Algeria. Briefly raised to a Regiment in September 1955 and disbanded 1 December the same Year.
