130TH ENGINEER BRIGADE, US ARMY

History: The Brigade has been active 5 May 1943 – 31 January 1946, 25 September 1955 – 25 June 1956, 16 June 1969 – 4 May 2007 and since 23 October 2008. During most part of the Cold War the Brigade served in Germany. It then deployed to one battalion for service in Operation Desert Shield/Storm in 1991. In 1995-1996 it served with the Operation Joint Endeavour in Bosnia. It did three tours to Iraq in 2003, 2005 and 2009. The Brigade served in Afghanistan 2013-2014.
