MAYRHOF
State : Oberösterreich
District : Schärding
Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on June 10, 1991.
The arms show a typical farm gate for the area. The gate (Hof) is also a canting symbol. The two parts of the gate also symbolise that the municipality is part of two school districts, two parishes and two postal regions.
Literature : Baumert, H.E. : Oberösterreichische Gemeindewappen, Linz, 1996.
