Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on April 5, 1951.

The pine tree and the bordure are taken from the arms of the Lords von Tann, who ruled the village in the 14th century. The red bar is taken from the arms of the Lords von Puchheim, who rule dthe village of Weng in the municipality in medieval times.
