Partido y cortado. Primero de azur, un San Juan Bautista. Segundo de gules, un castillo de plata. Tercero de plata, un racimo de sinople. Timbrado Corona Real Española.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 1, 1996.

The village of Arganda was incorporated into the Royal Estate by King Felipe II in 1580 and who renamed the village Arganda del Rey. The arms show the quartered royal arms of Castille and Leon, with an escutcheon with St. John Baptist, the patron saint.
