State : Schleswig-Holstein
District (Kreis) : Rendsburg-Eckernförde
Amt : Amt Dänischer Wohld

Gettorf.jpg

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on October 15, 1984.

The church is the local church; the first church in Gettorf was mentioned already in 1318. Gettorf is also the main village in the Dänisher Wold forest, which is symbolised by the two small oak trees. The background shows the peninsula on which the forest is situated (gold) on the Baltic Sea border (blue).
