History: Constituted as Air Base Squadron, 8 Air Base Group on 20 November 1940. Activated on 15 January 1941. Redesignated as: 7 Air Base Squadron on 17 January 1941; 7 Base Headquarters and Air Base Squadron on 13 June 1942. Disbanded on 12 April 1944. Reconstituted, and redesignated as 7 Mission Support Squadron, on 7 March 1989. Activated on 1 May 1989. Inactivated on 30 September 1993. Activated on 1 October 1993. Redesignated as 7 Force Support Squadron on 8 July 2008.
