History: Formed at Cramlington in January 1918.

Standing on a demi-terrestial globe azure a falcon close argent.
Origin/meaning
The Falcon symbolises close association with Iceland. A White Falcon was formerly the arms of Iceland. The Globe alludes to the Work in the Iceland Area.
The badge was granted in August 1944.
