Motto: Non generant aquilae columbas

Origin/meaning

From the Arms of Admiral Sir George Rodney (1718-1792), Commander-in-Chief at the Battle of Saintes 1782. THe Motto translates as "Eagles do not breed doves". The Badge was approved 1923.
