Escudo de azul, pano de muralha de prata, realçado a negro, com seu pórtico aberto do campo, assente sobre um terrado de vermelho; em chefe, sol radiante de ouro, movente do bordo superior do escudo, entre uma cabeça de rei cristão, coroada de ouro, à dextra, e uma cabeça de rei mouro fotada de prata, à sinistra, ambas de carnação; em contra-chefe uma faixeta ondada de verde, burelada de prata e carregada de um peixe do mesmo metal. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro: " CARVOEIRO - LAGOA ".

The arms were officially granted on September 4, 2002.
Unfortunately I have no background information on these arms. Any information is welcome !
The previous arms were granted on February 7, 1995 and only differ in the crown.
