Origin/meaning
The arms were registered on February 1, 1994.
The pile symbolises the valley in which the village is situated while the spear and the pen stand for the patron saint of Střítež and its parish church: St. Mathew the Evangelist. This church has always been of great cultural importance to the whole region. The wavy base represents the rivulet which flows through the village and whose name, Ludina, is part of the name of the place.
