CORNUDELLA DE MONTSANT
Region : Catalonia
Province : Tarragona
Catalan | Escut caironat: d'or, un cor de gules; el cap de sable. Per timbre una corona mural de vila. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on December 17, 1984.
Canting arms: they show a "cor" (Catalan for "heart"). The colours, gold and a sable top, are taken from the arms of Entença family, because the town was a part of the barony of Entença in the 13th century.
