History: Formed at Hendon in June 1943.

In front of a horse's head couped sable a sword erect the point upwards argent hilted and pomelled gules,
Motto: Pegasus militans = Pagasus at War.

Origin/meaning

The badge symbolises the Squadron dual role of Army Co-operation and Transport. The badge was granted in August 1945.
