• (Bishop) Von Rot und Blau gespalten; vorne der Eichsttäter Krümmstab; hinten auf einem grünen Dreiberg ein schwarzer Adler, im Schna­bel einen grünen Zweig.
• (Archbishop) Geviert; 1 und 2 in Silber ein goldgekröntes Mohrenhaupt mit rotem Kragen; 2 und 3 in Blau ein goldener Balken, das Ganze belegt mit einem schwarzen Adler auf grünem Dreiberg, im Schnabel einen grünen Zweig.

Origin/meaning

The arms with the eagle in front of a golden bar is the arms of the Von Reisach family. As cardinal he used only the family arms, as archbishop he quartered the arms with the arms of the diocese in silver.
