Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on August 31, 1961. The arms are based on the arms of the Lords of Elkershausen, which had a large castle in the area in the late 12th century (mentioned in 1191), around which the village developed. Until its extinction in 1725 the family played a role in the village, especially until the 14th century. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
